This boiler, supplied by Cerney, a well-established and highly regarded company based in Zaragoza, has been installed to replace the Loos boiler that has supplied steam to our mill for the past 23 years.
Following signs of wear and ageing in the Loos boiler, we decided to replace it with a new unit incorporating the latest technological improvements, including a new economiser and a low-NOx burner designed to reduce nitrogen oxide emissions.
This investment is intended to secure the continuity of our paper manufacturing process and minimise the risk of disruption in the event of equipment failure. At the same time, the project has enabled us to reorganise and optimise the area formerly occupied by the cogeneration plant, creating a more efficient space and making it better suited for future developments and improvements.
